Smoothie


Ingredients:

One banana
One cup of mixed fruit
One cup vanilla soy milk
1/2 cup of yogurt or soygurt (Yo-Soy)

add a tablespoon of Udo's Choice omega fatty acid blend 3-6-9 with DHA (plant source). There is no fish product in this.  (Can leave this part out if you so choose, because of the name.)

Add the powder of your choice. K-pak is great but it has that Raspberry/Lemon flavor which can change the flavor of your fruit. Rice protein is best and your body likes vegetable protein more than animal protein.

Here are some tips....
A cool smoothie is best.

Freeze those older, brown bananas, defrost under hot water.

Organic frozen fruit is expensive, go with what you can get. Blueberries are powerful, raspberries, strawberries frozen are somewhat inexpensive.

You can throw in a few chunks of Pineapple or mango when you’re in the mood.

For the low glyceric diet. Vanilla soy milk is higher in sugar, try plain soy milk it has little or no sugar.

Same with yogurts, plain is best for low sugar.

Oh yeah, soy milk has as much as 10% more calcium then cow's milk.
